Adaptive Data, Inc., located near Dayton, Ohio, is an integrator and supplier of data collection, RFID and labeling solutions. The company was founded in 2002 to help manufacturers meet the growing requirements for supply chain compliance. In the years since then, technology has made leaps and bounds forward, with faster wireless networks, longer-range scanning and the re-emergence of RFID to name a few. Through it all, Adaptive Data continues to provide custom solutions for the manufacturing, distribution and healthcare markets, integrating proven barcode and RFID technologies with our business process expertise to deliver value to over 2,000 clients worldwide.

Tim Gribler, Senior Sales Executive
Tim Gribler is a veteran of the AIDC industry with over 28 years of experience selling to direct and indirect channels.
In the thermal barcode and labeling industry since 1991, Tim has extensive knowledge of on-demand labeling systems, wireless network infrastructure and mobile terminal management. His experience also includes responsibility for establishing vendor compliance programs for major catalog retailers.
As a business owner, Tim has spent the last 17 years at the helm of Adaptive Data Inc., developing the company into an industry leader in Auto-ID technology and supply chain solutions through strategic partnerships with leading hardware and software manufactures.
Tim lives in Springboro, Ohio with his wife and three daughters.
Mike Barker, Integration Solutions Account Manager
A 30 year veteran of the AIDC industry. Combining the experience of 9+ years with Intermec (now Honeywell) and ongoing work in the AIDC reseller channel Mike designs, sells and directs the development and implementation of bar code and RFID data collection systems, label printing systems and custom software. Many systems involve data integration to Enterprise systems. His expertise extends to high performance label materials, labeling systems, smart printing systems and wireless networking.
Mr. Barker is an MBA alumni of Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to entering the AIDC community, Mr. Barker worked in wholesale distribution of industrial supplies as MIS director and in various sales and sales administration positions.
Extensive field work in both industries gave Mr. Barker first-hand experience in many manufacturing and distribution processes and disciplines.
When not at work you will find Mike, involved in various community/church groups, relaxing at his camper or on the golf course.
Jevon Kennedy, Technical Account Manager
Jevon is a business professional with strong technical and managerial skills. As an IT professional, he has 15+ years of experience working in highly diverse, very fast-paced consulting environments. As a technical consultant, he has implemented cost effective, reliable business technology systems including maintenance and support. As an IT Manager, Jevon has administered Windows Servers environments (AD, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, etc.), Microsoft Office365, Network Disaster Recovery Planning, Virtual Storage Arrays, VMWare, Definity phone systems, Wireless networks, AutoCad, and Help Desk support for PC and Mac users. Jevon also has solid experience with vendor relations, technical training, project management, change management, and Sarbanes Oxley internal controls.
When he is not working, you will find Jevon on some stage as the lead singer of a local band.
Liz Smith, Marketing Manager
Liz is a veteran in the AIDC industry with 30 years of experience. Liz has spent her career in a variety of roles ranging from Marcom Manager to Business Development Manager. Now at Adaptive Data, Liz is responsible for all things marketing. The focus these days is website optimization, the ADI blog and navigating the somewhat uncharted, and ever-changing waters of social media.
A lot has changed in the past three decades on how businesses go to market, making Liz's job as a marketer sometimes challenging, but always interesting.
When not at work, you can probably find Liz at the ball park, in her garden or at the dog park with her faithful companion, Shadow.
Kent Rustad, Wireless Account Manager
Kent Rustad has been in the barcode technology and labeling business for over 25 years, working with Adaptive Data for the past 7 years. After earning a degree in Physics from Loras College and continuing to study Physics in Graduate school at the University of Missouri-Rolla, his research in electromagnetic fields sparked his interest in computer technology and wireless networks.
Over the past 26 years, Kent has designed and implemented barcode systems in all types of industries and environments. His training and certifications in wireless and RFID by Intermec, Motorola, Cisco and Ruckus give him an extensive, diverse knowledge of this technology and its products.
Kent has installed wireless barcode systems in paper plants, warehouses, pipe yards, automotive plants, and steel mills both indoors and out. His vast, hands on experience and understanding allows him to solve issues that are beyond the capability of most technology professionals.
Specializing in business processes, Kent designs systems that have exceeded his customer’s efficiency expectations.
